Apart from our own dear parents and close relatives, there are many people that help us grow or make a difference in others lives. When I came to the United States of America alone I thought I would be alone the rest of my stay in this land. I was wrong. I met good people of all colors and backgrounds that became very dear friends.
I first lived in Michigan before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. Now I live in Florence, Arizona working as a chaplain at a private prison. I love the job especially when I see many inmates coming to the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior of their lives. I have many religious volunteers of all faiths helping inmates go through their issues of live.
One sad part was when one of the volunteers went to be with the Lord in Heaven this year 2009. Inmates prayed for this brother when he was battling cancer before he died.
Before Brother John Fowler passed away he used to visit my house with his family nearly every four months especially on Christmas and Super Bowl games. He liked food such as fried chicken and meat.
John Fowler was a spirit filled man and helped many people before his death to be filled in the Holy Spirit. He was a man of God for sure.
One day John informed me and my family his intention of going with me to Zambia, Africa to help people in the village especially at Kanyuka village build good houses, clean running water, hospital as well as schools. He also wanted to go see animals in Safari. John did not know that his life would be shortened here on earth before all his dreams and visions were fulfilled.
Before he died, I used to visit him in the hospital and pray with him. One day he told me he was going to the other side of the world and I will find him there. I knew he was going to die. He later told me to perform funeral services once he passed on to the other side into the kingdom of God. I did with his wife and the rest of the kids. We buried him.
But few months later his wife Cheryl Fowler remembered the dreams and vision her husband had about Kanyuka village in Zambia. She called my wife Kari for coffee. My wife Kari and Mrs. Fowler met.
Mrs. John Fowler gave a check of 2500 dollars for Moyo Africa Inc to full fill the dreams and visions of her late husband. When my wife gave the check to me I quickly put it in the bank account for the organization.
I know there are many people that would like their dreams and visions come to pass even if they are not present when they are being fulfilled like John Fowler.
